WELCOME BACK STUDENTS!!
Lynchburg Elementary School will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE night on Friday, August 6th. Parents and students may meet the teacher and stop by our information tables.  Please be mindful of the times below, as we have been strategic in our planning to help with traffic flow on our campus.  Teacher presentations will begin at the beginning of each hour. If you are not able to join us, no worries. Your student will receive any pertinent information on the first day of classes.
 
Kindergarten - 4:30-5:30 PM
1st, 3rd, & 5th Grades - 5:30-6:30 PM
2nd, 4th, & 6th Grades - 6:30-7:30 PM
 
*Elementary School students DO NOT come to school the morning of Aug. 6th. Only Middle School and High School attend on this abbreviated morning.
*Class Lists will be posted at the front of the school on August 5th @3PM!
*FIRST FULL DAY OF SCHOOL- AUGUST 10th (FOR EVERYONE!!)

BUS Registration will be conducted ONLINE this year. If you have questions, trouble filling out the form, or need help due to internet needs, please contact wendy.hart@moorecountyschools.net or our Central Office at (931) 759-7303.
 
Please make sure you complete this form in order for a bus to be able to transport your child to and from school.
 
 
       Friday Backpack ProgramMay be an illustration of footwear
 
Our Friday Backpack program provides students with a sack of non-perishable food to bring home for the weekend. Food is delivered to the child's classroom or directly to their bus in the afternoon. If your child participated last year, they will continue to receive food this year. If you feel your child would benefit please contact Pam Duffus, LES School Counselor at pam.duffus@moorecountyschools.net .
 
 
 
MCS Foundational Literacy Skills Plan 
 
This Foundational Literacy Skills Plan has been approved by the Tennessee Department of Education and meets the requirements of the Tennessee Literacy Success Act. All portions of the Foundational Literacy Skills plan were submitted to the department and approved. To view the supplemental artifacts, please contact the district directly.

Your input is vital in the planning and implementation of the family engagement programs and activities in our school system. The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. The following survey is confidential and will be used to assist us with future planning for parent and family engagement activities and events.
