Lynchburg Elementary School P.T.O. did an outstanding job with Lynchburg's first Color Run!  Vibin' in the Hollow was a huge success!  Thank you to everyone who helped out and participated!

TCAP Wraps UP 

The Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program, or TCAP, has wrapped up for LES students.  This has been a grueling couple of weeks for teachers and students alike, and we are so proud of the hard work that has taken place.  Thank you to PTO for treating our students to Kona Ice! This was a great way to wrap up testing!

PTO to Host Trunk or Treat at LES        Pumpkins

Lynchburg Elementary PTO is planning a trunk or treat in conjunction with Halloween in the Hollow on October 31st from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.  If you are interested in being a part of the fun, you can sign up to decorate your truck at this link,  Trunk or Treat Sign Up. PTO is also accepting candy donations for the event.  Donations need to be wrapped, store-bought candy, and can be dropped off now through Friday, October 28th.

Our Friday Backpack program provides students with a sack of non-perishable food items to take home for the weekend. Food is delivered to the child's classroom and discreetly put into his or her backpack. MCS Foundational Literacy Skills Plan 
 
This Foundational Literacy Skills Plan has been approved by the Tennessee Department of Education and meets the requirements of the Tennessee Literacy Success Act. All portions of the Foundational Literacy Skills plan were submitted to the department and approved. To view the supplemental artifacts, please contact the district directly.
