Exciting News from Moore County Schools: Enhancing Parent Communications with ParentSquare!
At Moore County Schools, we are always looking for ways to enhance the experience of our parents and district community, including keeping up with the latest technology and employing the best parent communications tools to allow for parents to be fully informed and engaged. That tool for us has long been Remind.
In recent years, there has been a strong shift among districts nationwide to the market leader in parent and district communications, ParentSquare. ParentSquare has actually acquired Remind, and we are excited to announce our transition to this powerful new communications tool to enhance how we communicate and connect with our community.
Rest assured, everything you loved about Remind will still be available in this new communications tool. ParentSquare has carefully integrated many of the best-loved features from Remind into their platform, including the ability to send direct 2-way text messages while keeping everyone’s personal phone numbers private. This means you’ll still get important updates, but with even more features and tools at your fingertips!
By switching to ParentSquare, we’ll be able to streamline and simplify our communication process. You will have the flexibility to choose how you receive messages, whether through the app, text, or email. There’s even an option to receive a daily digest of non-urgent messages so you only have one summary to read per day. We believe teachers will find ParentSquare easier to use and will be able to communicate more effectively with parents, communicating and collaborating to enhance your student’s success.
ParentSquare offers a unified platform for all our parent communication needs. This includes:
Mass Communication
Classroom Communication
School Services like newsletters
Calendar events
And many other opportunities!
Parents in ParentSquare districts around the country rave about their experience, and we are confident that you will too! We’re excited about these upgrades and the potential for even better engagement within our district. This transition will help us stay connected in a more efficient and organized way, while continuing to keep you informed and involved.
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for your continued support as we make this important move!
Sincerely,
Moore County Schools
