School Meal Prices for 2022-23

Breakfast/Lunch Prices Back in Effect: 
For the past year and a half the Moore County Schools Nutrition Department has been able to provide breakfast and lunch to all students free of charge due to federal pandemic relief funding.  The funding that allowed this has been discontinued for the 2022-23 school year. July School Board Meeting

The Moore County Board of Education will meet in regular session Monday, July 11, at 6:00 PM in the Moore County Department of Education Building. The school board will meet in a work session following this meeting. These meetings are open to the public. You can view the agenda at moorecountyschools.net

2022-23 Bus Rider Registration

The Moore County Schools Bus Rider Registration is open for the 2022-23 school year. All riders will need to be registered in order to be transported. Please be sure to review the bus rider handbook and bus safety video with your child before you register!

Moore County Schools - Stakeholder Feedback

Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds were granted to "prepare, prevent, or respond" to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are now working on the 2022-2023 ESSER Spending Plan. Leave suggestions or feedback below.

Pre School Screening May 19

PRESCHOOL SCREENING

Who: Children ages 2.5 to 5 years old who are not eligible for
Kindergarten in the fall
Where: Lynchburg Elementary School
When: May 19th and 20th
Time: 8:00 AM-1:30 PM

Your child will complete developmental activities with a trained professional to determine if age-appropriate milestones are being met. This is a free service provided by Moore County Schools. The areas evaluated may include but are not limited to:

Hearing and Vision
Speech and Language
Social Skills
Cognitive Skills
Gross and Fine Motor Development
Self-Help

2022 Summer Learning Camp Registration

Want to keep your child from experiencing the "Summer Slide" and want them to stay on their "A-Game"?

Fill out the form below to register your child for our FREE month long Summer Learning Camp! Camp will begin Tuesday, May 31st and will run approximately 7 hours per day. Students who will be entering 1st grade-8th grade next school year (current Kindergarten-7th grade students) may register for this camp.
