The Open House/Ribbon Cutting at LES was a great success last night!  The community turn out was wonderful.  While we still have some work to do, our new facility is truly an asset to Moore County.  Our new elementary school is a source of pride for all of us.  Mr. Smith (our principal) had a visitor from Georgia at the school yesterday and last night.  He is moving in to our community soon and just happened to come to visit the schools on the day of the Open House.  The man was truly impressed with our facilities.  I overheard him say very excitedly, "I am not sure if I am more impressed with the auditorium or the library!"  What a great compliment for all of us.  A new member of our community is very excited that his children will attend school in such a first class facility!
