AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION KIDS HEART CHALLENGE IS KICKING OFF AT L.E.S.!
 
Our American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge is kicking off at LES! The event begins March 11th and runs through March 22nd!
 
The Heart Heroes are coming, and we have disco fever! You are invited to join the American Heart Association’s lifesaving celebration. It’s time to register and complete Finn’s Mission to become an official Heart Hero. PLUS, you could win NFL Super Bowl 2025 tickets for completing Finn’s Mission!

TCAP Wraps UP 

The Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program, or TCAP, has wrapped up for LES students.  This has been a grueling couple of weeks for teachers and students alike, and we are so proud of the hard work that has taken place.  Thank you to PTO for treating our students to Kona Ice! This was a great way to wrap up testing!

Our Friday Backpack program provides students with a sack of non-perishable food items to take home for the weekend. Food is delivered to the child's classroom and discreetly put into his or her backpack. If you would like your child to participate in this food program, please contact Mrs. Monica Hardin, LES School Counselor, at [email protected].
 
 
 
MCS Foundational Literacy Skills Plan 
 
This Foundational Literacy Skills Plan has been approved by the Tennessee Department of Education and meets the requirements of the Tennessee Literacy Success Act. All portions of the Foundational Literacy Skills plan were submitted to the department and approved. To view the supplemental artifacts, please contact the district directly.

The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. The following survey is confidential and will be used to assist us with future planning for parent and family engagement activities and events.
